Letter From the Principal
Dear Parents, Students, and Community Members,
Welcome to Lanier County Middle School! Whether you are
a returning member of the LCMS family or joining us for the first time, we are
excited about the opportunities ahead and grateful that you are part of our
school community.
At LCMS, our theme continues to be “Expect Excellence.” These words
represent more than a slogan—they represent the culture we are building
together. We believe excellence is found in the daily choices we make: giving
our best effort, taking responsibility for our actions, treating others with
respect, persevering when things are difficult, and believing that we are
capable of more.
Our goal is simple: every student, every day, growing and achieving. We are
committed to providing rigorous and engaging learning experiences that
challenge our students while providing the support they need to be successful.
We will continue to focus on academic growth, strong instruction, meaningful
relationships, and opportunities for every student to discover their strengths
and develop their potential.
We also believe that success extends beyond the
classroom. Athletics, clubs, leadership opportunities, service, and
extracurricular activities provide our students with valuable opportunities to
build confidence, develop character, learn teamwork, and discover what they are
capable of accomplishing. We want every student to find a place where they feel
connected, valued, and encouraged to succeed.
At LCMS, we understand that attendance matters, relationships matter, and every
day matters. When students are present, engaged, and supported
by caring adults, they have greater opportunities to learn and grow. Our
faculty and staff are committed to knowing our students, supporting their
needs, celebrating their accomplishments, and helping them overcome challenges
along the way.
We also recognize that great schools are built through
strong partnerships. Parents, guardians, and community members are an essential
part of the LCMS family. We encourage you to stay involved, stay informed,
communicate with us, and celebrate your child's progress. When school and home
work together, our students win!
I am incredibly proud of our students and staff and
excited about what we can accomplish together. As we move forward, let’s
continue to challenge ourselves, support one another, celebrate growth, and
never settle for less than our best.
